Q&A

What yarn works best with the M1 Pro?

The M1 Pro works best with smooth, flexible Weight 3 / Light and Weight 4 / Medium yarns. Acrylic and acrylic blends are especially suitable, while very thick, fuzzy, or Super Bulky Weight 6 yarns are not recommended.

How automatic is the M1 Pro?

Once your yarn is set up, choose your mode, set the target rows, and press Start. The built-in electric drive keeps knitting without continuous hand-cranking and stops automatically when the preset count is reached.

Will it help reduce dropped stitches and yarn jams?

The electric drive and 5 adjustable tension levels help maintain a smoother, more controlled yarn feed. Using compatible yarn and the right tension setting can also help reduce skipped stitches, jams, and rework.

Do I still need to count every row myself?

The built-in counter tracks your rows or rounds as the machine knits. Set a target count before starting, and the machine automatically stops when it reaches that number.

What can I make with the M1 Pro?

Circular Mode is ideal for hats, headbands, tube scarves, and other tubular projects. Flat Mode expands your options to bags, scarves, sweater panels, and other flat pieces.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Circular Mode is designed to be easy to get started with, especially at a lower speed and with recommended yarn. Flat knitting involves a little more setup, making it better for users with some knitting experience.

How fast does the machine knit?

Circular Mode offers 3 speeds at approximately 10, 14, and 18 rounds per minute. Start slower while setting up your yarn, then increase the speed once everything is feeding smoothly.
